- assist in solving day-to-day problematical issues which arise

- chair Staff Meetings, which are to take place as and when required
- participate in the development of local policies and procedures
- ensuring that Relatives and Residents meetings take place regularly, as agreed with the Registered Provider
- share in the development of strategic plans
- support the effective resolution of team conflicts, and provide guidance and supervision to direct reports
