Responsibility
- wash, sort and store all items of kitchen equipment, utensils and cooking implements
- support with cleaning of equipment
- support with cleaning the kitchen at the end of service to ensure it is ready for the next day
- maintaining the food storage areas such as freezers and refrigerators
- we are looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated kitchen porters to work in our established busy family friendly café which is situated in a fabulous location overlooking St Annes sea front. Immediate start available
- receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen
- removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
- providing assistance to other kitchen staff, as needed
Requirements
- ability to communicate effectively with other colleagues
- thorough attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- team player skills, assisting other colleagues when necessary
- highly ambitious with a desire to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the business
- be willing to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative
