- running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
- running the pass consistently in a busy environment
- working with the Head Chef on new menus giving opinions and ideas
- inspiring, motivating and supporting the development of the wider kitchen team
- supporting the Manger/Head Chef and running the kitchen in their absence, this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic chef looking to take the next step in their career, With Progression into Head Chef role in time for the right employee
- this family run venue prides itself on serving a wide range of fresh, homemade dishes, using quality, locally-sourced ingredients. The right Candidate needs fresh food experience at a similar level and a positive can do attitude
Requirements
- previous experience of working as a Sous Chef
- background of working in fresh food environment creating beautiful dishes
- an understanding of GP’s, labour budgets and stock management
- passion for hospitality and desire and ambition to help grow the business creating Ideas for Events and Menus
- A flexible attitude and thrive of working in a busy environment
