- manage the day to day operation of the group’s financial procedures
- undertake the higher level day to day financial operations of the group
- support the Head of Finance monitoring the annually allocated budget
- produce a monthly trial balance and reconciliation to control accounts
- assist in the monthly financial reporting – prepayments, accruals etc
- assist in the end of year processes and provide information and records for the annual audit
- monitor the departmental budgets producing regular reports
- help ensure that the group’s financial policies and procedures are consistent with the requirements of the Academies Financial Handbook and the auditors
