Responsibility

  • producing a consistently high standard of coffee with efficiency and excellent customer service
  • managing the coffee bar and liaising directly with clients and their guests
  • managing stock and equipment on-site and restocking when appropriate
  • delivering and setting up espresso bars in a mobile setting whilst successfully navigating varied venues prior to the event starting
  • when not on-site, you will be required to help with duties in the office and warehouse
  • travelling to venues across the U.K. and major European cities to provide on-site, client-facing event services
  • being responsible for managing freelance/part-time baristas and overseeing the smooth running of their respective coffee bars when we have more than one coffee bar at a single event

Requirements

  • A full, clean driving license and the confidence to drive large vans
  • eligibility to work in the EU, travel within the EU and hold a valid passport
  • A high level of customer service and a friendly, sociable character. Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous
  • happy to travel and work away from home regularly and be flexible with work patterns
  • confidence and resourcefulness to work independently in different cities throughout the UK and Europe
  • well presented with a high standard of personal hygiene
  • barista experience: 1 year
  • be self-motivated with an ability to work independently and manage other staff

Responsibility

  • respond to and manage in-bound telephone calls with a friendly and professional manner
  • guide clients through the pre-event organization process, ensuring that all event requirements are captured accurately and fed back to the internal Operations team with sufficient time ahead of event dispatch
  • liaise with external suppliers and manage product lead times to produce a wide range of branded items in line with our client’s brand guidelines
  • contact clients for post event feedback, ensuring that any feedback is carried forward to future events and shared with the relevant team members
  • make ongoing updates to the data in our internal CRM system to ensure that it is as up to date as possible
  • the preparation and briefing of event baristas pre-dispatch ensuring that they are as prepared as possible to deliver the high standards of service expected of us
