Responsibility

  • chef - Restaurant
  • initial 3 month contract after a successful trial. Pay and contract will increase after the initial 3 month contract
  • along with our usual food service there will be opportunities to cater for numerous private events over our two venues which will increase hours and pay
  • monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by the restaurant management

Requirements

  • proven experience as a chef or cook in a restaurant setting
  • strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously a lot of the time on your own
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • cooking: 3 years
  • kitchen experience: 1 year
