Responsibility
- develop and implement an effective compliance program to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans
- provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
- investigate and resolve compliance-related issues, including conducting internal investigations as necessary
- maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for management
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance is integrated into business processes and practices
- stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in compliance management
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Law, or Finance
- previous experience working in a compliance role, preferably in a regulated industry
- strong knowledge of new and relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and identify potential compliance risks
- strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compliance concepts to diverse audiences
- ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- professional certifications in compliance or related field are a plus
