Responsibility

  • head Chef
  • the Bay has a well established Sunday carvery alongside good breakfast & lunch trade
  • we are looking to build on this & take the offering to the next level
  • the Bay is a 200 cover Café & Kitchen situated within the old Tropicana lido on Weston Super Mare seafront & trades all year round
  • the Directors have a firm belief that the present seafront business model is broken & also is no benefit to the local community
  • we are seeking a head chef who wants to grow with us & move the whole business forward in the future
  • with this in mind they have over the last 18 months transformed The Bay into a go to destination for both locals & tourists a like & during this period have seen huge growth
  • the Bay is now seeking a new head chef to take over the running of this busy kitchen & take it to the next level

Requirements

  • previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant
  • strong culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes
  • excellent knowledge of food safety regulations & best practices
  • ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
  • strong organizational & time management skills
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
