Requirements

- able to carry out a physically demanding job, involving lifting heavy objects and remaining on your feet for long periods of time in various weather conditions
- trained, experienced and certified to use a ride on lawn mower, tractor, Golf Buggy, Gator, Pesticides, petrol hand lawn mower, hedge strimmer, powered hand tools and other horticultural machinery safely and professionally
- trained, experienced and certified to use a ride on lawn mower, tractor, Pesticides, hand lawn mower, hedge strimmer, powered hand tools and other horticultural machinery safely and professionally
Responsibility
- to maintain and clean all gardening equipment and machinery in full working order, where possible carrying out repairs
- to be fully conversant with the company’s Health and Safety policy, ensuring compliance at all times
- to carry out maintenance and care of plants in the Chapel and waiting area
- regularly clear items from memorials left by the public, including dead flowers, plants, vases and any unauthorized ornaments
