Responsibility
- we are looking for a new member of our kitchen / catering team
- we are always encouraging creativity and love to try new things, new dishes and new concepts
- the ideal candidate will have good experience and be used to working in a busy kitchen environment
- primarily based at our new Tunbridge Wells coffee shop located inside the Tunbridge Wells indoor bowls club with opportunities to work in other areas of our business around Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead & Uckfield
- you will assist with the usual day to day service of breakfast and lunch service and assist with the prep and service of match meals, event meals and private events
- there is potential for the right candidate to eventually over see the operation as head chef
- your role will be to assist in the smooth operation of the kitchen working closely with the head / executive chef. You will be responsible for some menu creation, cost control and liaise with the club about functions, meals and private enquires
- we have a fantastic reputation for the quality of our food at the Lodge so we need to find someone that can help maintain the quality and passion that goes into our food
