Responsibility
- leading your Room and Practitioners in all aspects
- ensuring that the EYFS curriculum is implemented, through imaginative, creative and child-led initiatives
- taking on the role of key worker for your designated children
- working in partnership with parents by providing effective feedback on their child’s learning and holding one to one meetings
- supporting your Head of Room and contributing positively to the culture and reputation of The Little Tug Boat
- adhering to Nursery policies and procedures which includes the Safeguarding and Health and Safety of all children
Requirements
- have a passion for working with children and developing their learning through play
- hold a minimum level 3 or equivalent qualification with experience in a nursery setting
- have a thorough understanding and hands-on experience of the EYFS, child development and Ofsted regulations
- show a commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children as well as high standards in confidentiality
- be able to work collaboratively alongside our Crew to live our mission and values
- hold current Paediatric First Aid certification
