Requirements
- boilers, Water Heaters, Cookers & Flue Gas Analysers essential
- gas Fires, LPG or Oil qualifications advantageous, but not essential
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Cylinders Qualification desirable, but not essential
- 1999 Water Regulations Certificate desirable, but not essential
- able to provide work references or evidence/portfolio of standards of work
- basic construction skills i.e. working with plasterboard, bricks and wood
- wiring experience of S-plan, Y-plan and Smart Thermostat Control Systems
- plumbing and Domestic Mains Gas
Responsibility
- we have a large loyal customer base, predominantly retired, built up over years of providing service excellence
- the Little Plumbing Company & East Devon Water Softeners are a small family run business based in Sidmouth, East Devon covering Exmouth in the west to Axminster in the east and Honiton in the north
- priority will be given to applicants that already live in East Devon or are relocating to the local area
- due to growing success and continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced all-rounder plumber/gas engineer to join our team, providing plumbing & heating services to domestic households
- part time hours maybe also be considered as an additional role, especially for applicants with their own tools and vehicle
- 50% of our workload tends to be smaller jobs in different locations, therefore this role would suit a positively pro-active individual with great time management, plenty of stamina and self-motivation
- you will be someone who enjoys plumbing and likes to take on responsibility, but also wants to maintain a work/life balance without all of the hassles of going it alone/running your own business
- A large growing part of our business is installing and servicing water softening and water filtration equipment. We are also agents for Qettle & Quooker boiling taps, for which full training will be given
