Responsibility
- plan, lead and manage our scholarship programme, its redevelopment and growth
- take the lead on our wider outreach programme redevelopment and growth, such as our veteran recovery programme
- project manage programme delivery, ensuring that it is delivered on time and within budget
- be a key contributor and coordinator to the Air League’s educational outreach strategy
- manage selection and sifting process, and its integration with the CRM system
- collection impact data and statistics and monitor performance against KPIs and reporting against them
- liaise with and manage contracts with external suppliers to make sure they deliver agreed services on time and within budget. Work with colleagues across the organisation including IT and Finance to ensure quality of service and value for money
- liaise and manage contracts and coordinate payments with flying training organisations and gliding clubs to ensure consistent and safe delivery. Ensure governance is in place including risk assessments, insurance cover and CRB Checks
Requirements
- aviation and aerospace knowledge or experience
- proven working experience in project management
- project Management Professional / PRINCE II certification is a plus
- excellent internal and external communication skills
- recruitment and selection experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- experience of event management
- solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
