  • the John Muir Trust is a non-profit charity organisation based across the UK offers mostly remote working to a positive and experienced Finance and Governance Team Support Officer with experience
  • this role will require you to take initiative, be proactive in anticipating any issues before they arise
  • the John Muir Trust, a conservation charity dedicated to protecting wild places, is looking to recruit a Coordinator to join the growing Finance & Governance team
  • this is an opportunity to use your excellent communication, organisation, and administrative skills to support the smooth and efficient running of the Trust’s finance and resources functions
  • the role reports to the Business Support Services Manager and will provide direct administrative support to the CFO while also assisting other team managers with various project and issue resolution tasks
  • other tasks relating to the financial work of the John Muir Trust as required
  • the Finance and Governance Officer will manage the day-to-day financial operations and perform governance tasks for the John Muir Trust reporting to the CFO to support the budgeting process, management, and financial accounting as well as fund reporting
  • this role extends beyond finance and includes - but not limited to governance, for supporting the effective running of the charity
