technical support engineer
Responsibility
- provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, or chat
- troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues related to operating systems, computer networking, and software applications
- assist customers with setting up and configuring network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues
- document customer interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
- conduct remote troubleshooting sessions to identify and resolve technical problems
- provide guidance and training to customers on product features and functionality
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- strong knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems
- familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- experience troubleshooting software applications and performing software installations
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- knowledge of firewall configurations and VPN setups
- previous experience working in a help desk or technical support role is preferred
