THE INVESTIGO GROUP is looking for employees for positions:

senior infrastructure engineer

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • ensure that infrastructure and systems are effective in supporting the growing user base of the Group
  • responsible for the management, maintenance and constant development of the Group’s infrastructure providing a stable and robust platform, supporting new solutions and changes
  • to oversee monitoring of the environment, in particular with regard to identifying and proactively managing issues of security, capacity and performance
  • any other tasks or projects commensurate with grade

Requirements

  • experience in leading, planning and executing successful IT Infrastructure projects
  • experience in the design, development, installation and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions
  • experience of acting as a technical lead and mentoring other team members
  • experience of working with SAN and virtualisation technologies e.g. NetApp and VMware
  • experience of configuring network and infrastructure components and the maintenance of this infrastructure
  • experience with at least the basics of scripting languages e.g. PowerShell, Python etc
  • relevant industry standard technical qualification , e.g. VMware VCP-DCV, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft
  • at least 3 years’ experience of implementing and administering security controls in a technically complex and fast-moving environment for server and network systems
