Responsibility

  • coffee is then to be made for all staff members by 8.20 pre open at 8.30am on the dot
  • all customers to be acknowledged and greeted on entry and thanked on departure
  • starting work at 8am duties include setting up entrance ropes, signage nicely displayed, watering external plants, opening the blind/windows and dialling in and preparing coffee machine for service
  • lunch to be taken when time allows usually after lunch rush
  • coffee to be monitored weighed measured and constantly adjusted throughout the day for consistency and quality. Recipe to be followed and latte art to be consistent in line with images used
  • orders will be taken by till and takeout coffees also need to be fitted in accordingly to manage queue at front of shop effectively
  • role also includes management of coffee, milk, take out cups/lid ordering once a week and stock rotation
  • taking orders when till FOH operator takes a comfort break or lunch break and maintain flow of orders, delivering coffee to tables and managing orders at till point
