we have an opportunity for the career development of an Artisan Baker to join the Burford team
moderate previous experience preferred. Initial training will be provided at Bourton-on-the-Water branch
daytime shifts only, 4 day work-week . 5am start time
learn the role to replace the current Head Baker and step up into that role
flexibility with assisting to prepare and produce cooked items using the baked items
open to other general requirements needed to operate an independent shop
ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards
follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
previous experience as an Artisan or in a similar culinary role preferred
knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
they will need to be very reliable, friendly and customer-focused and someone who really enjoys working within a small team
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
minimum age required is 18 years
strong communication and teamwork skills
the ideal candidate must have some bread baking and/or food service experience however full support and training will also be given, so this would be a great opportunity to acquire full training for the bakery trade
