Working hours

Requirements
- experience in a variety of sectors/industries
- A good working knowledge of Health and Safety Law
- experienced and competent in completing risk assessments e.g. COSHH, fire, lone working, manual handling etc
- experience in customer facing roles
- able to produce detailed reports and action plans
- able to write policies, procedures, safe systems of work, contractor accreditations etc
- excellent communication, telephone and organisational skills
- written accuracy and attention to detail is paramount
Responsibility
- update internal policies and procedures in line with legislative or client changes
- line manager - Head of Health and Safety
- attend client renewal meetings and, meet with clients to address their needs, update them and discuss the service provisions
- regularly attend customer/client meetings to discuss health and safety provision and services
- support in the development of junior H&S Advisor/s and Assistant H&S Advisor/s
- attend internal sales and business development meetings
- identify with the Line Manager professional training and development needs
