Responsibility

  • permanent, Full-time
  • hybrid working - Can be home based, but with travel to head office in Thornhill, Dumfries once a month
  • salary – £50,000 to £56,000 dependent upon experience
  • ensure familiarity with and adhere to all HALO policies and procedures and keep informed of HALO activities
  • support the production of transactional reports/documentation for grant/contract audits, liaising with the external auditors/country teams as appropriate

  • assist in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of annual business plans and budgets, reporting on key financial risks for the portfolio

  • assist in the development of systems, tools and processes to ensure HALO’s budgeting and forecasting process operates efficiently and effectively
  • support the production of timely financial donor reports for the portfolio
  • programme Support
  • support programmes in the construction of country level budgets together with associated donor funding allocations
