  • sweep & mop floors of all classrooms, toilets, kitchen and barn
  • hoover all carpets in the main offices
  • sanitise all Covid-19 and hydration stations in classrooms
  • santitise all desks, chairs, tables, door handles, desk top screens, light switches, phones and radios
  • clean all kitchen counter tops, window sills, sinks and taps
  • empty all bins and yellow bin waste held for 3 days before disposal
  • order and restock cleaning suppies as required and manage COSHH cupboard supplies
  • remove cobwebs and wipe skirting boards

Responsibility

  • manage complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and to generate strategies
  • run one-to-one sessions with our young people to support them with their communication needs
  • carry out holistic assessments, signpost service users to other services where appropriate and hold a caseload of complex cases
  • to demonstrate specialist knowledge in communication and swallowing disorders
  • induct, support, supervise and appraise therapeutic practitioners, students and volunteers ensuring all work is carried out to Family Action minimum standards and is designed and delivered to maximise agreed outcomes
  • provide clinical and safeguarding supervision to therapeutic practitioners working directly with children and families who have experienced trauma and loss
  • provide advice, consultation and training to professionals and promote partnerships
  • assist parents/carers/professionals in their understanding of the impact of trauma and loss, in order that they might respond appropriately to the emotional needs of children and young people
