Responsibility

  • the Trust is looking to appoint an exceptional Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join our existing central finance department
  • key Responsibilities
  • ensure the Academy’s Financial Handbooks is operated to by means of rigorous and robust controls
  • liaison and reporting to a large number of budget holders, staff, suppliers, debtors, and other relevant internal and external contacts
  • manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems for budgeting, financial administration, and cash flow forecasting
  • the successful candidate will support the Chief Finance Officer in the delivery of management accounting in a central finance function for the Trust
  • manage the process of monthly reconciliations to produce accurate financial reporting as required by the Chief Financial Officer
  • prepare reports and reconciliations for month end and the statutory audit at year end
