Head Chef/Kitchen Manager Oxford
Morgan Pub Co is an award winning, independent pub company based in South West London with an expanding portfolio of quality beer and food driven pubs. We are looking for Head Chefs to join us as soon as possible at multiple sites including The Grapes at Oxford.This role would be ideal for a passionate, creative, ambitious head chef looking for a new challenge with the aim on developing further in becoming an area chef in the near further. We are expanding fast with multiple new sites in prime locations on the horizon.Main Responsibilities:\* Input with head of food on new menu with dishes using fresh and local ingredients\* Introduce variety and a small number of daily 'specials' to the menu on a regular basis\* Work effectively as a team player to lead and motivate the kitchen staff\* Take commercial responsibility for the food, generating gross profit on all dishes\* Comply with current EHO requirements and complete documentation accordingly\* Liaise with head of food, directors, management and suppliers on ordering / invoice checking / cost control / supply chainThe successful Chef will be flexible towards working hours including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays and have previous pub experience.This is a very hands-on role in a new kitchen and will be closely supported by the directors, operations and general manager to drive the success of the business.This package comes with a handsome quarterly bonus scheme.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsDiscounted or free foodSchedule:12 hour shift8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeTipsExperience:Chef: 3 years (required)Work Location: In
