Responsibility

- preparing and presenting a daily team briefing to all staff on events, offers and sales strategies in effect each day
- setting and upholding strong upselling techniques and high delivery standards to achieve financial targets and strong customer reviews
- on-shift lead for venue safety & licensing, including emergency procedures, food safety & hygiene, incident reporting and maintaining the licensing objectives
- motivating a team of assistants on the floor, leading by example and providing ongoing training and development
- with good coffee, cheeesy toasties, cold beers, delicious cocktails and the most welcoming staff, The Glitch is the perfect place to meet with friends, work in comfort, or relax admiring local artworks
- making fast, delicious coffee and preparing simple food maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene
- responsible for the smooth running of the daytime café trade; cultivating a warm and welcoming customer experience and high quality service standards for all visitors
Requirements
- at least 1 years’ experience as a Café Supervisor / Senior Barista
- food Safety and Hygiene for Catering
- exceptional barista skills with good understanding of speciality coffee, milk frothing and latte art
- knowledge of licensing objectives
- good knowledge of coffee machine and grinder maintenance
- experience using Lightspeed POS
- experience managing and motivating a team
- first Aid At Work Qualified
