- collecting stock or goods from a collection point and ensuring that all customer orders are complete
- planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration
- using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time
- delivering products that are in good condition to clients
- doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
- interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- unloading packages at the destination
- if no driving needed – there will be additional tasks such as organising store room, helping out in the kitchen
Requirements
- previous experience of driving a van in London
- clean licence
- clean license
- strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- must be able to lift heavy objects
- compliant with Food & Health and Safety regulations
