liaise, manage, and proactively communicate with clients and suppliers
responding to enquiries in a timely manner, organising supplier site visits and operation meetings
being organised with preparing contracts and invoices including deposits, final balance payments, and commission invoices
adding daily to our event management software system to ensure accurate reporting
maximise sales and upsell to generate income for the museum, understand target goals and contribute to achievement
work with our accredited suppliers and recommend to clients, ensuring they attend all operations meetings for our large events
communicate with clients to ensure you have all the information to deliver the highest quality events, providing expert knowledge on the grade listed building and able to execute sometimes demanding events in a short space of time
maximise sales and generate business for the Garden Museum Restaurant, introducing them to clients and being able to successfully match them with the right clients
Requirements
events Manager experience
demonstrable track record of delivering excellent service
presentable with VIP client experience
prior supervision and co-ordination of team members and suppliers to ensure effective delivery of events
some experience in event marketing, including social media, websites, networking and showcase events
meticulous time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines

confident, polite and calm , exercising discretion and confidentiality in difficult situations
