Responsibility

  • assisting with the efficient, smooth running of the shop kitchen
  • managing the ovens
  • ordering all goods as required and liaising with suppliers
  • receive and put away deliveries
  • produce and product stock control
  • monitor wastage and working on ways to minimise/reduce this
  • working in a fast-paced environment and meeting production deadlines; ensuring the morning bake off and finishing is completed efficiently before moving on to the days production schedule
  • quality control of products being made, being able to notice when a product doesn't look right and addressing problems
