Requirements

  • food hygiene certificate or be prepared to work towards it
  • an understanding of good housekeeping standards
  • cooking: 1 year
  • kitchen experience: 1 year

Responsibility

  • sufficient cooking experience to be able to agree a set menu and ensure sufficient ingredients are available
  • ensure that the dining room is clean and tidy
  • assist with serving lunches directly from the kitchen to the dining room
  • ensure that all washing up is completed and kitchen area is cleaned in line with procedures
