Responsibility
- provide an excellent client centred approach to the service
- maintain a clean and welcoming environment within the client's home
- report and communicate with the Agency regarding the health and welfare of the client
- keep up to date personal care training and communicate with the Agency regarding carer and client reviews
- provide work availability on a monthly basis
- assist clients in the area with all aspects of personal care, mobilizing to and from bed, meal preparation, light household duties, trips out, companionship, collecting prescriptions, attending appointments and mediation administration
Requirements
- previous care experience is essential
- valid driving licence and own transport is required
- up to date mandatory care training including Moving and handling, medication administration, infection control safeguarding, food hygiene, and first aid
- current DBS
- knowledge and experience with dementia are essential
- care: 2 years
