Responsibility

• meet product deadlines in an efficient manner
• refill machines according to product specification
• follow required procedures, work instructions and specifications

• identify machine faults and common product faults & rectify to maintain product quality
• review any machine breakdowns and carry out remedial actions to re-start production
• report any machine breakdowns outside of the Scope of the Manufacturing Technician to the Operator Setter/Maintenance department
• assist The Maintenance Department where practical
• change and identify work produced on the machines
• complete documentation and batch paperwork
• suggest document improvements
• inspect components received and components on the machines
• any other task that is reasonably expected within the post holders ability

Requirements

• dexterity with small components
• accuracy and attention to detail
• mechanical aptitude beneficial
