- to maintain daily records and weekly/monthly checks

- to provide a high standard of varied menus, reflecting individual dietary requirements
- home baking experience desirable for special occasions
- to ensure consistency of high quality food is maintained in the kitchen
- maintain training and development applicable to the role
- to manage and order stocks of food working within a budget
- evaluate and update weekly menus as required to ensure variety, choice and nutritional requirements are met
- to maintain a clean, safe kitchen to the standard required
- 32.5 hours a week over 5 days
- to work in partnership with the Kitchen Assistant and the rest of the staff team
- minimum of two years experience in a similar environment preferred
- minimum of Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene preffered
- ability to work under pressure, friendly and positive attitude, honest and reliable, use own initiative
- present a smart appearance and a polite and friendly manner
