Responsibility
Supporting the Head Chef with preparation of hot and cold food for breakfast service to the highest standard
Running sections of the kitchen during service
Ensuring a consistently high level of food service at all times through knowledge of menu items and
to assist the Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest quality, hygiene and service standards are met and maintained at all times in line with our customers expectations
awareness of commodities used, preparation, methods and cooking
Assisting as necessary with stock control and identifying methods for improving food service
Ensuring kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and relevant health and hygiene procedures are
reports to: Head Chef Department: Food & Beverage
Requirements
Ability to run and maintain breakfast service
Current certificate in Basic Food Preparation, Health and Hygiene or similar
Excellent communication skills
Driven with a passion for food and quality produce
Creative with a meticulous eye for detail
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment and maintain a consistently high
breakfast Chef: 3 years
Experience of working in a similar role within a high quality establishment and ability to produce quality food to the highest standard
