Responsibility
- we're looking for a cover sewing/fashion making teacher
- the applicant will be passionate about fashion sustainability, ethics and the future for fashion
- you will be paid £20 per teaching hour. The post is available to start immediately
- you will work with our studio manager to prepare lesson plans and presentations
- we'd love it if you could join us to cover classes on some weekends and holiday workshops on a freelance basis at The Fashion School in Chelsea London
- you need not have a teaching qualification but experience is helpful. You will work closely with our manager and other staff at first
- we teach children from as young as 6 to 19 all about sustainable sewing and making, you would be expected to inspire their concepts and initiate solid skills so they can sew their clothes
- YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SEW AND BASIC PATTERNCUT with a thirst for learning new as fashion techniques change regularly
