- undertake project and research-related work as needed
Requirements
- masters in ecology, environmental science, biology, or a related field, with a strong focus on ecological research. Post-doctoral experience is preferred
- CIEEM Full Membership
- lead and manage Habitat Bank projects from initiation to creation and beyond, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and objectives
- building and Nurturing Relationships
- FISC Level 3- or equivalent botanical skills
- undertake ecological survey work including site walkovers, UK Habitat Classification, habitat condition assessment and more specialised botanical survey work as necessary
- an extensive track record of professional experience in ecological research and project management
- analyse ecological data, interpret findings, and prepare Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and calculations utilising the Biodiversity Metric 4.0
