Requirements
- minimum of one year’s demonstrated experience in working with children and young people, preferably within a residential setting
- ability to promote emotional and mental resilience to children and young people
- aged 21 years or older
- awareness of physical and emotional health needs
- good verbal and written communication skills
- able to work overtime if required
- previous experience of supporting vulnerable people with complex needs working towards independent living
- good interpersonal skills and an ability to work collegially with team members and stakeholders
Responsibility
- responsible for the direct care of the children/young people under the guidance of the Registered Manager and Responsible Individual and support the staff team when on duty
- actively promote Ty Ni’s philosophy of creating a happy, efficient, family style home and maintain the home’s statement of purpose, abiding by all policies and procedures
