- engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing assistance as needed
- manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- monitor inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management
Requirements
- basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
- previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential
- knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable
- strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to help create a warm atmosphere for patrons
