Requirements
degree level education or an appropriate professional qualification in a relevant discipline
experience or knowledge of multi-functional operational management within the private sector
knowledge of company and financial legislation in relation to limited companies
Responsibility
to develop and implement the Durham BID Business Plan which reflects the needs of businesses and stakeholders of the city
22. To proactively manage the development and exploitation of commercial opportunities to support Durham BID in enhancing delivery and providing additional services/projects to levy payers
to constantly review the delivery and propose revisions to the Business Plan as necessary, preparing reports and briefing papers for the Board to make appropriate and informed decisions
direct and manage company contracts, commitments and baseline agreements in line with the Business Plan and formulate actions and follow ups, as appropriate, to ensure appropriate remedial actions are taken
act as champion for the BID company and businesses within it and being the main point of contact for all strategic matters
11. Manage the overall BID budget in line with financial control procedures; ensuring that BID activities are developed within the agreed budget and expenditure monitored
