Responsibility
- liaising with customers both domestically and commercially on a day to day basis both face to face and by telephone
- ensuring paperwork is completed after every job and handed to the office on a daily basis
- to keep company vehicles, tools and equipment in a clean state
- to be presentable, clean and tidy on every job and to keep home owners and business premises in a clean and tidy state once jobs are complete
- to carry out all types of drain excavation and repair including soakaway installation, gully replacement, manhole covers etc
Requirements
- proven experience in all types of drain clearance
- to be able to fault find on complex drainage systems to identify the most efficient way of repair and
- valid driving licence and over 25 for insurance purposes
- physically demanding works in all weathers
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a sometimes challenging environment
- familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in drainage repair and clearance activities. patch lining and resin lining and advantage and also moling of water mains
- to be part of an emergency call out rota for evenings and weekends
- plumbing: 3 years
