Responsibility
key Responsibilities of the IT Support
to act as a first point of contact for phone calls and emails from clients regarding IT issues and queries
receive, log and managing calls via telephone and email while maintaining our database and tracking any changes & progress
escalate calls to senior engineers
maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
1st line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems including software to hardware, such as smartphones, tablets, Laptops, PCs and Printers and WIFI
take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of tickets on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner
other duties reasonably consistent with the role as may be required from time to time
