- brief and supervise development of social content working with the brand and image team, brand marketing team, and agency partners
- within responsibilities, accountable for improving the effectiveness of marketing emails in order to optimise engagement and drive efficiencies
- deliver a multi-channel strategy that supports bricks and mortar stores in EMEA as well as E-commerce
- accountable for working in partnership with other marketing teams as relevant within the scope of the role

- work alongside the CRM manager to deliver consistent messaging across email and social campaigns
- accountable for providing full and regular reports and analysis to the business regarding campaign performance, Guest feedback topics and trends
- own and manage weekly email reporting against set KPIs including email engagement, traffic and revenue
- continually monitor and review social content performance feeding this into future strategy refinements
- support the Marketing Manager, EMEA, to develop, deliver, and oversee the overall strategic execution of the shopDisney social media presence in EMEA, ensuring content adheres to Company guidelines and approved where relevant prior to publication
- accountable for maintaining an awareness of local consumer insight and best practice benchmarks
- test / optimise the email marketing plan to gain learnings to drive performance
- accountable for building and maintaining effective relationship with key stakeholders internally and with external partners to ensure that individual and collective objectives are achieved
- accountable for the development and optimisation of quarterly email marketing plans
- schedule social media posts across shopDisney owned platforms and ensure campaign tracking is used to enable performance reporting
- accountable for working closely with the e-commerce team to maintain a high commercial knowledge of key best sellers, new product launches, promotions and general business activity to ensure appropriate marketing support
- develop and maintain expert level of knowledge of our email service provider
- maintain strong relationships with TWDC to maximise synergies and to establish and optimise partnerships
- accountable within the scope of the role for ensuring brand compliant social media content and ensuring approval is in place prior to publication
- work closely with the online trading team to maintain a high commercial knowledge of key best sellers, product promotions and general business activity to ensure appropriate targeting
- be aware of local consumer insight and best practice benchmarks to help inform local content planning and maximise effectiveness of campaigns
- work in partnership with stakeholders in the wider Walt Disney Company to maximise exposure for shopDisney across other lines of business email campaigns when appropriate
- work closely with and report back to the digital marketing and online managers to ensure all traffic driving expectations are being met
- work with key stakeholders, including the shopDisney acquisition marketing team to ensure paid and organic social campaigns work in synergy; the brand marketing team to activate brand campaigns via social channels; PR teams to support on Influencer marketing; and The Walt Disney Company digital and social teams to maximise awareness of shopDisney to audiences across the business
- review Guest feedback on social platforms and via social listening tools to develop understanding of the shopDisney Guest and opportunities to engage with them
- to develop and deliver the shopDisney EMEA email marketing calendar in partnership with marketing and trading teams
- build links with other TWDC functions to develop broader knowledge of the business
Requirements
- degree level education in a related field or equivalent work experience in e-commerce marketing, preferably for a European multi-channel retailer
- digital marketing related degree desirable and/or demonstrable experience of e-commerce marketing, preferably for a European multi-channel retailer
- experience of email marketing essential
