Responsibility
- the Derby Conference Centre is looking for a Night Porter to join the team
- JOB SUMMARY To keep the site secure and maintained, to include assisting with guest queries and cleaning
- to ensure the security of the offices and ensuring the security of the DCC and its on-site residents
- to adhere to fire evacuation procedures in the event of fire, both as a lone worker and as a team
- to check-in and check out any early or late guests via reception
- to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel, following a nightly cleaning regime in line with guest expectations
- to set up conference rooms where necessary
- to carry out Reception duties where necessary
Requirements
- \* Be hardworking and flexible
- \* Have a can-do attitude and works well in a team or alone
- \* Be a great communicator
- \* Be a good problem solver
- \* Would prefer someone who has worked in a similar role on nights in the hospitality industry
- desirable but not essential to have Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, Fire Marshall qualification, First Aid trained
