Responsibility
- barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders
- prepare espresso or tea drinks quickly and accurately
- clean and maintain the bar area cleanliness standards
- comply with health and safety regulations
- up-sell additional bar items, refill or refill for customers
- maintain inventory by keeping product in stock or returning product to customer
- the Coffee Shop Ltd is looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea
- track down supplies or call for help when needed
Requirements
- previous work experience as a Barista or Server
- knowledge of cleanliness best practices
- familiarity with food preparation and bar equipment such as foos, grinders, mixers etc
- ability to operate kitchen equipment such as blenders, mixers etc
- excellent time-management skills
