Responsibility
- prepare and cook menu items as agreed with the Head Chef
- stock control
- assist the Head Chef as required and handle other duties as assigned

- ensure that customers are given prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded
- deliver training to kitchen staff
- assist other team members when required
- liaise with all restaurant personnel to effectively work as a team
- demonstrate knowledge of food costing, sales, and menu planning
- contributing to and leading the team effort
- ensure stock, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with company and food standards
- assist in the development and planning of menus, including identifying future food trends and displaying a passionate approach to supporting the development of new styles of service and concepts
- adhere to Food Hygiene, Health and Safety policies at all times
- ensure that food storage areas are maintained in accordance with Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policies and procedures
- assist in the development of other members of the kitchen team
- show commitment to and promote company values
- act as a positive ambassador for the company
- attend to any reasonable request made by the business owners
Requirements

- previous experience working as part of a fast-moving, quality driven, culinary team, as either a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie
- highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
