- prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the cafe's menu
- assist in the preparation of our frozen ready meal range, working to the Chef’s recipes
- maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- ensure proper portion control and minimise waste
- collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- follow all health and safety regulations in food preparation and handling
- previous experience as a cook or line cook in a cafe or similar setting is preferred
- ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- flexibility in working hours and availability to work part-time shifts
