Responsibility
- we are seeking a Tiler for just 1 week's work in Bury. CIS or invoice, no umbrella company requirements
- measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesive
- mix and apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles in place
- cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and in tight spaces
- align and level tiles using tools such as levels, straightedges, and squares
- apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout
- ensure proper installation techniques are followed to meet quality standards
Requirements
- proven experience as a tile setter or similar role
- knowledge of different tile materials, patterns, and installation techniques
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- strong attention to detail and precision in tile placement
- physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
