Responsibility

  • we have recently been awarded a 5 star hygiene rating and it is paramount that food safety/handling is also your priority
  • at least 1 years experience in kitchen and to follow food safety management system and hold a current food hygiene certificate
  • the Clock Tower Cafe is looking for a Cafe cook who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, can work well under pressure and happy to run the kitchen
  • you will be working as part of a small team of people, but solely responsible for the kitchen and all aspects of cleaning, temperature contol, EH paperwork etc and making sure the kitchen runs efficiently

  • working hours are 8:30 -3:30, so there is the opportunity for a great work life balance within this role
  • the Cafe is located in Blean, just outside of Canterbury on the way to Whitstable. It is on a main bus route and the bus stop is 30 meters from the cafe so please bear this in mind if you do not drive
