THE CLARKE FOLEY CENTRE is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • temporary | Permanent

Responsibility

  • ensure the premises are clean, safe and secure for all staff, customers and visitors
  • setting up the rooms according to the scheduled use
  • work towards ensuring that all customers, clubs and groups have a positive experience at Clarke Foley
  • represent Clarke Foley in a positive manner
  • knowledge of opening the closing the Centre to ensure its security
  • any other appropriate tasks assigned by the business manager
  • working as a member of the CF team, and with the Café Managers to ensure the café and premises are kept clean

Requirements

  • weekend and evening shifts
  • dividing longer event shifts into a more manageable size with the caretaking team
  • ability to remain calm and purposeful under pressure and to ask for help from other staff or volunteers if needed
  • holiday & sickness cover
  • previous experience in a caretaking role is highly desirable but not a necessity
  • flexibility to work a range of days/hours is a necessity
  • hours will vary from week to week
  • A positive attitude to work with a willingness to deal with queries from colleagues and customers, ability to deal with all aspects of caretaking and premises management
