THE CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT CENTRE is looking for employees for positions:

massage therapist

  • massage therapist

Responsibility

  • perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and others based on client needs
  • assess clients' medical history and specific conditions to determine the most suitable massage techniques
  • create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during massage sessions
  • maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the massage room and equipment
  • educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care between sessions
  • collaborate with Chiropractors as needed to ensure comprehensive client care
  • keep accurate records of client information, treatment plans, and progress notes

Requirements

  • level 3 or above Sports Massage Therapy Certificate
  • valid professional and public liability insurance
  • proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in clinic setting
  • strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to adapt massage techniques based on individual client needs
  • professional demeanor and appearance
