THE CATHEDRAL ARCHER PROJECT is looking for employees for positions:

communications officer

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • this will provide revenue and day to day operational funding to support the work of The Archer Project
  • this post requires experience and a strong knowledge of digital communications. Some fundraising experience would be desirable but is not essential
  • the Archer Project started over 30 years ago and has developed into a forward-thinking charity that supports homeless adults to achieve a fulfilling and enjoyable life
  • the fundraising team work creatively to raise the profile of The Archer Project and to keep issues surrounding homelessness at the forethought of public consciousness
  • we are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Communications & Fundraising Officer , to be part of and support the Fundraising team to provide funding to support The Archer Project
  • the Communications & Fundraising Officer will report to the Fundraising Team Manager and will be part of a team responsible for raising both funds and the profile for The Archer Project

Requirements

  • having permanent UK residency is mandatory
  • we are unable to accept applicants with unspent criminal convictions or who are subject to criminal registers / orders

Contract type

  • i) Appointment subject to successful undertaking of an Enhanced DBS Check
  • a) Salary scale: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
  • b) Contract type: Full-time, permanent
  • c) Work pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some out-of-hours flexibility is required
  • d) Location: Sheffield with a mix of home / office working
