Responsibility
assist the head chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
help plan and develop menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences
prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards
supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks
monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements
previous experience working in a restaurant or gastropub
strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
excellent communication and leadership skills
attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious dishes
ability to work well as part of a team
